"DB Palette"
~ Where does DB Palette save images ( back up and moves folder )~

This time what we do is tutorial of DB Palette.
- If you want to change the folder where DB Palette saves image data.
- If you want to shift the DB Palette data.
- You bought a new computer and you want to use the DB Palette data in old computer.
This tutorial describes how you can move, shift, or change the folder of DB Palette data.

Default DB Palette image folder
DBP folder (where DB Palette saves images) has been created automatically when you have installed DB Palette.

(For MacOS)
HD/usr/documents/Adobe/Illustrator/DBP

(For Windows)
My Documents/Adobe/Illustrator/DBP

Setting path for Image folder
At first, open Adobe Illustrator and display DB Palette from window.

1 : Open DB Palette setting from the DB Palette form Adobe Illustrator.

Image is captured form MacOS and it is same as Windows version.

2 : select "DB Path setting" from the menu.

3 : Set DB Path to "DBP" folder. If the folder name is "DBP", you can place the folder any where you want in the Hard drive. ( You can also use another computers' database by using network, which written below. )

About Network
You can set the pass for the DB Pallet's database. If your computers has connected to network, you can put DB Pallet database for another computer.

Work as a Group / Internet
You can not work simultaneously with one database by multiple people.
( You can work with one database by multiple people, only if you are not using database at the same time. )
