AlphaRay Direct Tutorial Part.4
Making Image with Original Objects.

In this Tutorial, we made the ant's Illustration with Adobe Illustrator for the object image.

The object image is RGB color, and format has to be jpg, PNG, TIFF or GIF.

+ When you set the object's size to "100", the object size will be actual size of the image. So, please adjust the size of the image to output.

You can register the objects by clicking the folder icon which we marked with red.


Place image along the text.

Blend the objects to the BackGround.

Place object images along the mask image.

Use the "a" mark shown blow as a mask image.

Please make the check when you use current layer as a mask image.

Use "a" mark as a object image and placed "a" mark mask image.

Please save the object image as ".png" image and register to AlphaRay Direct. To register the images, please click the icon which marked with red line in the image shown below.

AlphaRay Direct Tutorial Part.4
Place objects on Back Ground Images.

Placing objects on the back ground naturally.

Process

At first, Please choose the back ground image and object image. Then, please input the text that you like.

Next, Set up the text's perspective to fit with the background image, using map tool. You can use the map tool by clicking the an arrow shape icon which is on left and bottom in the AlphaRay Direct window.

Advanced Technique.
Place image more naturally.

Please make a check for Use current layer as a mask in the setting manu.
When you set up the "Use current layer as a mask", you can place the object on the layer which you select.

After you set up the setting which written above, please make a new layer, and place the text. When you place the object on independent layer, you can use the other photoshop filter or setting for the layer. The image shown below used brightness and contrast setting by photoshop and expressed the wet stones.

How to use the Property Palette.

The Property Tab

You can change the object randomly.
You can set up the size, horizontal position, vertical position, rotation, hue, chroma, brightness and transparency in the property palette.
When you set the more big value, the change will be more dynamic.

How to use the object setting palette.

The Text Setting Tab

A : Load the object image.
B : Select the object image.

Also, you can set up the configuration written below in the object palette.

w (transparency) s (shadow density) x (shadow's horizontal position ) y (shadow's vertical position ) d ( diffusion of shadow ).

When you use the object palette, you can use up to 8 objects.

Also, you can set up object's size, intervals, and Tolerance.
